My $99 Blog Site

  • Unknown's avatar

I’m trying to set up and use the site I bought. I’ve been ignored for the past three or four days. After much trial, I’ve set up and posted a new blog. I’ve named it penpencil.blog.
I still cannot get rid of announcements about this being my first post.
Even more annoying is the announcement that I need to buy a premium site. I have. In July of 2016.
I think I have paid for more personal service than I ‘m receiving.

    Please help.

    Thomas

  • Hi Thomas,

I would be happy to assist you with looking into these issues for you, but you are contacting me from an account not associated with the upgrades that you purchased. Can you contact me from the account associated with the subscriptions to verify ownership?

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

I’m contacting with the only account I have. I can send you the receipt notification from back in July 2016. I’ve never received a new account name. I’ve had a free account for a couple of years. It’s brinson1.wordpress.com .
I don’t think my payment was ever properly credited. As I look at the WordPress documents relating to the account, all of them say “free.” One of the things that I asked another “Happiness Engineer” was whether I could change the blog name. The answer was “Yes” and I was sent a link to do that. When I clicked on the link, I received the message that I could not change the name.
Please send an email link to the following address: (email visible only to moderators and staff) I will then forward *all* of the messages to and from WordPress.

At the moment, I’m still using the brinson1blog with a new name, penpencil.blog I need to be able to blog to boost my book sales and business.

In July of 2016, as I mentioned, I paid $99.00 for a premium blog site. To date, I’ve received zip! My messages are ignored and the WordPress system does not recognize my Premium status.

Thank you for your reply, it’s refreshing. Please don’t drop out of sight as two other “Happiness Engineers” have done.

I’ll look for your email at (email visible only to moderators and staff) .

    Thank you,

    Thomas Drinkard

  • Hi there,

The account you are contacting us from does not have any history of charges which is why I was sure there must be another account.
I found another account that you own under brinson1 – it does have a history of charges. There is a different email attached to it than the one you are contacting us from. However, that account does not have a history of a $99 charge either.

However, I did find the charge under the author999 email. It’s a third account that you have. If you can log into the account under that email, you should be able to find the site you are wanting to work on.

If you still have access to the email connected to the account, you can enter that email address in the password recovery tool. Please check your spam folder for the recovery email if you don’t receive it in your inbox immediately:

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

    Thank you Darnell.

I still have access to the email account that begins with author999****.
I’ll go there and restart the process. I must, however, keep the brinson1blog account for a short period of time, I’m serializing a novella on that site, one Chapter each day.

Thank you for your help. I hope that, this time, I can get to use all the “bells and whistles” offered by WordPress for a Premium account.

  • Of course – if you want me to move the brinson1blog site over the email associated with author999 email just so that everything is under one account, I’d be happy to. Contact me from that account to verify ownership and we’ll make it happen.

    Just let me know, thanks!

No. I’ll be less likely to cross up the info if I use two email addresses. BTW, I’m going to change the name of the Premium site.

Thank you for the offer, though!

    Cheers!

    Thomas
