My “About” is gone. How do I recreate?

  I thought I edited the ‘about’ sidebar, but now it’s gone. How can I get this back?

  to make sure if you still have an about page, go to dashboard, select manage, under manage select pages.

  if there isn’t one there, you have to create a new one again. go to write in dashboard, under write select write page.

  as for an about sidebar, most themes do not have a default sidebar except for some, like andreas04. for other themes, you have to use a text widget and edit from there.

  Thanks – It is the sidebar I’m looking for and I am using andreas04. I must have deleted it somehow when editing it…anyway, I just put it back up as a widget instead.

  the andreas04 has a default about sidebar, where the info is taken from your about page. so you didn’t accidentally delete anything. it’s just that other themes do not have this feature you have to add it yourself using a text widget.
