my about page content appears twice on the page

why does my about me content appear twice on the page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Did you by accident “copy and paste” the whole page? The only solution will be to go to that page editor and remove the duplicated content.
-
When I view the published page it appears twice. When I go to where the content can be typed, it is there only once.
-
Are you looking at that page’s text/images in the visual editor? If you click on the HTML button do you see the content there displayed once or twice?
-
In the visual editor & html tab, the content is only there once. If someone were to visit my page and choose the about tan they would see the info & phots posted twice, followed by the contact page (which I don’t know why because the contact page has its own menu button).
-
That’s odd. Perhaps it’s some setting peculiar to the Affinity theme you are using?

As I can’t offer any constructive advice I’ve typed “modlook” in the tag box and hopefully in due course staff might give you a solution (but remember it is the weekend…)

Hi there,
You have that page set as both your front page and as Panel 1 under your theme options in the Customizer.
The content of the front page is shown at the top of the page, with the panels below it, so you don’t need to assign your front page to a panel as well – it’s already visible.

You need to go to the Customizer. Click on My Sites, then click the Customize button next to Themes.
Then click on Theme Options. Remove the About page under Panel 1.
