My About page has vanished from view

  Hello – I’m not sure when this happened, but today I realized that although I can see my About page in my Dashboard, the rest of the world can’t see it. I didn’t change anything, and it was there for years. Any suggestions gratefully accepted! frenchletters.wordpress.com

  That theme is old and retired. Looks like it somehow fell out of synchronization with Pages, so you’ll have to either use a Pages widget or just switch themes.

  My pretty theme, that gets so many compliments, retired??? So sad. I actually have no idea how to “use a pages widget.”

  Raincoaster has been here longer than most of us, including most of Staff, so her answers can be trusted 99.99999% of the time :)

  Instructions on using the Pages widget are here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/ You can add it to your sidebar by going to Appearance ->Widgets in the dashboard.

  Also note that a retired theme will start developing more and more problems as the site evolves and the theme doesn’t, so perhaps start looking for something newer: https://wordpress.com/themes/
