  Hello there,
  There is no way to delete username accounts at wordpress.COM. Also if you get a wordpress.ORG install and use Akismet and/or wordpress stats plugins then you will need the wordpress.COM account to get your API keys. Please see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
