Not to worry!
That is what the tool at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ is set up to do. It uses payment info that only whoever purchased the upgrade would have to verify that they are the actual purchaser. AND, more importantly, to track down the exact transaction that needs to be refunded.
It was built with this exact situation in mind.

I have done that already. It doesn’t lead to anything. Can’t I verify who I am by the personal information y’all have on me?
I’m prepared to start a claim with the better business bureau. I’m tired of the runaround & y’all not being helpful. I have also contacted a lawyer.
