My account email address does not exist anymore. How can I change it?
-
I have set up my wordpress account some years ago, with account mailaddress (email visible only to moderators and staff). I want to change this, because it does not exist anymore.
However, when I change it, WordPress sends a mail to the old mail account for verification.
But since it does not exist, the mail will not arrive, and I cannot verify the change. How can I change it?
Could you please send a mail to (email visible only to moderators and staff)?
Thanks!

Hi there!
When you change your WordPress.com account’s email address, you’ll receive two emails: one email will go to the original email address on the account as a notification of the request and the other will go to the new email address with a confirmation link.
The email that goes to the old email address is just a notification that the WordPress.com account associated to the old email is being changed. There’s nothing else to do on that email.
On the other hand, the email that goes to the new email address is a confirmation email containing a confirmation link. You will need to click the confirmation link to complete the process to change the email address.
If you did not receive the confirmation email on your new email address, please check you spam or junk folder. If you’re using Gmail, please check the Social tab in your inbox.
