  I received two emails confirming my email change to (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  These are not me. I did not change my email. My acccount and password is not working to let me login to my wp-admin. Can you please help me reset my password, block this person, and set up two factor or something.

  Hey there, are you referring to your account here at WordPress.com, or are you having trouble with your WordPress installation? An account with us will likely be different from accounts you set up with your own copy of the WordPress code.

  If you can’t log into your site’s wp-admin because of this change, your host may be able to help you make a backup and use one of these recovery options. Several don’t require access to wp-admin or email, just your hosting tools.

  Then have them help you secure the site so it’s safe. Here’s a useful guide for that. When everything is in good shape, make one more backup.
