If you enter a word or phrase in the box at step 2 of the above link you should be given an option for a free site with the WordPress.com suffix. You may have to experiment to get an address you are happy with before clicking to the next stage.

yes, here I don’t have this option at step 2.
I want to reset my account. It’s possible? Something is wrong. -
I’m probably missing something really obvious here. All I can suggest is to log out and log back in, and also clear cache and cookies in your browser or even try a different browser. If you still can’t reach the option for a free plan then return to this thread and add modlook to the tag box on the right and a member of staff should be able to assist in due course.

Perhaps you are choosing a word or phrase that isn’t eligible for a free site? Just as a test try a different word and see if the free option appears.
PS: I have added the modlook tag now as you haven’t yet done so. -
As you have opened a new thread about this it seems the matter still isn’t resolved. Have you tried different words or letters in case it is the address you are seeking that is causing the problem? Have you changed your account name in the last 24 hours? It looks different or perhaps I just need more coffee. And oddly the modlook tag wasn’t showing on this thread a few minutes ago but has just reappeared. Perhaps @justjennifer is on duty?
