My account is blocked from log in for security reasons – I don’t see an email.

Hi there! I am not entirely sure which email I used for the URL above but my username is mtvsims and I have the correct password but it’s blocking my account for security reasons when I log in correctly. I’ve checked my email inboxes and I’m not seeing the URL to reset my password.
I would like to regain access to my mtvsims account. I wonder if I even had a phone or email listed for that account? Any support is appreciated, I really need this account back and would like it unblocked. Please and thank you so much!

Is it possible for WordPress to unblock my account so I can make sure my email is updated? Just adding here – I do know that mtvsims is the username. I did more research and I just can’t log into that email. If I’m correct, I made an email specific to the site because I can’t for the life of me find any emailed information about this website.
I have all of the correct log in info and I entered this correctly, it just is forcing me to reset my password and I can’t do that because I can’t access the email. I believe I know the email name if I’m correct I just don’t have the login info for it.

Also wanted to add that I don’t have a way to verify my account via the 3 recovery proofs as I’m not even sure which email I used and if I can access it. If I know my own login information and can confirm this by correctly entering my username and password, is there any way at all to get my account back or am I basically out of luck? Would appreciate any help or response!

I checked the other account, and I don’t see that it’s blocked or anything that would prevent you from logging in. We are unable to help with account issues here in the forums, but our account recovery team will be happy to assist you.
If you have access to the email address used on the other account that you’re trying to log into, please send an email from that email address to passwordhelp@wordpress.com. Our account recovery team will get back to you via email to help you with the next steps.

Thank you for your response, @aisajib! I receive this message when I log in using the correct credentials: Your account has been blocked as a security precaution. To continue, you must reset your password.
Is there a reason that might be appearing if my account mtvsims isn’t blocked? I am 99% sure I’m using my correct password as any other attempt lets me know the password is wrong. I would be hesitant to change my password as I do not know which email I used for this account and it might not be one I have access to anymore. That’s why I was wondering if I could simply log in as I have my log in information and the problem is that I receive that message.

I highly recommend sending an email from the email address associated with that account to passwordhelp@wordpress.com. Our account recovery team will then reach out to you via email to assist you with the next steps. They are better equipped to help you resolve this issue than we can through the public support forums.
