My account is still linked to an old email. I don't want a wordpress account.

  When I try to comment on blogs, and I entered my email, it always made me log-in to wordpress, since apparently once I set up a wordpress account. I don’t want to do this. I went into wordpress and changed the email address associated with my account, but when I enter my old email address, it STILL makes me log-in to wordpress. If I could, I would just want to delete ALL association with me to wordpress. I hate this! Please help.

  There should be NO connection to my old email address, so if I am commenting with my name and email address, I should not be told that I have to log in to wordpress. I have changed both my username and email on wordpress, so WHY is there still a connection to my old username and email? This is beyond frustrating, and no one seems to be able to help me :-(
