my activation email is not going through.

I have clicked repeatedly on the ‘resend your activation email’ but nothing is coming through to my email. I have entered the correct email address.
I have also attempted to change the email address on my account to an alternative one, but when I click save the account settings it says there was a problem and didn’t save.
Please advise.

Please make sure to check your spam folders. If you are using Gmail with tabs, be sure to check them all as well.
To clarify, are you trying to update the email address previously saved on your [USERNAME] WordPress.com account to something else? If yes, can you please reply back here with the old and new email addresses?
Can you please also check the following link and post here what email address you see listed and whether or not you see any error or warning messages on this page?

About the error changing to a new address, we’ll often see that if the new address already exists in our system. If you already have an account with us under a different email address, do you want to just use that account instead? We could help you move the site to that user.

Hi. The address (email visible only to moderators and staff) is correct. It wont be blocked becuase its a yahoo account and Im not even sure you can block on yahoo.
I do have an alternate address that I have used to try set up an account ages ago, which I no longer want (I would like to delete if possible). This is the alternate address that I am trying to change to on this account so I can activate

I’ve sent an email to your address on file. Will you reply there to let us know your address works? Again, from what I can see here, you seem to be blocking us somehow.
Alternatively, go ahead and log in using the other (old) account, and respond on this thread so we can contact you there.
