    Hello there,

    According to the eligibility to WordAds program on this site: https://wordads.co/faq/, you need a custom domain in order to be eligible.

    Q: Why do I need a custom domain name?
    A: We are unable to provide WordAds for sites with the default free [example].wordpress.com URL, so you’ll need to either register a new domain name or map an existing domain name to your WordPress.com blog of choice.

    If you’re on a free plan, you need to upgrade your plan to at least personal plan that allows you to use a custom domain to be eligible.

    I found this in the FAQ:

    Q: Can I run WordAds on my self-hosted WordPress.org site?
    A: Why, yes! WordAds is available for all Jetpack users on the Premium or Professional plan. Head to Jetpack.com to learn more or to get started.

    Anyway, I’ve added a modlook tag for Staff to check on your application status.

    Hi there,

    The WordAds program has a minimum traffic requirement before your site can be accepted. Once you have reached that amount your site will be automatically accepted in.

    Alternatively, if you purchase the Jetpack Premium or Professional plan you will be automatically accepted into WordAds.

    Hi there,

    We do not publicly disclose the minimum required traffic level, but I can tell you you need thousands of views a month to make any meaningful income from online advertising.
