My "Add New Post" script is not functioning properly.

  I am experiencing trouble with the script whilst adding a new post. The visual text editor would not show the text at all. I am also having trouble with adding media and custom fields. I have tried cleaning all browser history and installing the latest Java updates, but none fixed the problem.

  There’s an issue with creating posts on the front page of WordPress.com that will not be fixed until the next upgrade. Do not create posts here > http://wordpress.com/#!/post/

  Instead I recommend that you ONLY create posts here > Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
  http://wheeloffraudulence.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

  If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

  Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

  If you are, please do these four things:

  1. Try clearing your browser’s cache: http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

  3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  If it’s still happening, let us know which browser (and version of it) you’re using and post any error reports you get.

  Thank you for your swift response, and I am really sorry for the trouble;
  The first thing you’ve suggested did the trick but only for Chrome. However, while using Chrome and editing my drafts the same thing happens all over again. The same problem occurs in Firefox nevertheless of the posting method (the same thing is happening on my other blog: http://undeadinthecloset.wordpress.com). The four steps you mentioned last are all check, plus I’ve updated my Java runtime (ver. 1.7.0_09-b05). I’m using both Chrome (ver. 22.0.1229.94 m) and Firefox (ver. 16.0.1) and I am experiencing the same problem in both of them. I must mention that this problem only occurs with the visual editor, the HTML one is responding properly.
  I just tried the last thing you suggested: installing Opera (ver. 12.02) seems to have fixed the problem for now. Than you for the feedback.
