  If you are wanting to change the name of your blog, you can do so under <b>My Site → Customizer → Site Identity</b>.

  If you want to get rid of the “wordpress.com” part of your blog address/URL, you’ll need to upgrade to a Custom Domain here: https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/

  Whoops, pardon my HTML usage (bad habit!). That should have read My Site → Customizer → Site Identity, rather than being surrounded by <b> and </b> tags!
