My address is held in reserve yet I cannot access it.
-
I opened an account a couple weeks ago. I did not do anything with it after that because of emergency hospitalization. Now I am back, and trying to set up, and while I can get into my account, when I try to view what I have so far, I get a “not found”. When I try to start another blog, and enter my address, it says that it is in ‘reserve’. So, at this point I can neither access “www.paperwren.com/wordpress”, neither can I post to it, or do anything with it. My password and usename do work . . . I just cannot post anything or change anything. My email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff) Thanks.

Are you sure you don’t mean this URL?
http://paperwren.wordpress.com

I am sure you are correct. I had forgotten the format. I own paperwren.com, so I wasn’t sure if that was reflected. I had tried to get my server to work with me to upload my downloaded Theme (from WordPress.org) – but between hospital and a totally frustrating experience trying to get anything going at all with WordPress at my server, I thought I would get my feet wet on wordpress.com. . . . and then eventually find a server that is actually set up to use WordPress, with support that knows something about the same.

paperwren.wordpress.com is reserved by a user with the same username, not wd4nka.
You’ll need to be logged in to the correct account to register it.

Hi, again:
This might require a little detailing: I began a blog under the url “paperwren.worpress.com”. I don’t know how far I got as far as setting up, because I suddenly wound up in the hospital with emergency surgery. Now, one month later, I enter in my use and password, and I can get in, but nothing is found. I cannot post, there is nothing to post to. So, needing to get something going, I started a second blog, “paperwrenpress.wordpress.com”. Now, this I can access. It’s up and it’s going. But the first blog “paperwren” still lingers on my blog list. I shifted my primary over to Paperwrenpress.wordpress.com, what I need to know is, how can I either get access to that first url (paperwren) that says nothing exists, perhaps delete it altogether, leaving me with just “Paperwrenpress” ?
I’d like to have just one blog.

paperwren.wordpress.com never existed.
A user registered the username paperwren here back in August of 2011, and that’s who paperwren.wordpress.com is reserved for.

Interesting. So, my control panel shows me having two blogs, both named PaperWrenPress, one not useable. Is there a way I can get rid it?
Thanks. :)

You have http://paperwrenpress.wordpress.com/ and http://www.paperwren.com/wordpress/ (a formerly self-hosted WordPress.org blog which appears to no longer exist). Would you like me to remove the self-hosted listing from your account?
-
That would be great, macmanx. Go ahead and remove it. The self hosting version did not work out largely because the support at my server really did not seem to know much about WordPress, so I deleted WordPress from my server. I kept the theme I purchased on my hard drive for maybe a future shot at trying a self hosted version again. Thought I would start again with WordPress.com, get my feet wet here first. WordPress for me has been a very rough and frustrating road, but I’m still on it. BTW, I own both domains ‘paperwren.com’ and ‘paperwrenpress.com’ – I am staying with ‘paperwrenpress.com’.

I have removed the listing from your account as requested.
