My Amazon product shows as HTML code and not as a photo and description – how can I fix it?
-
I have found a link to an Amazon product I wanted to put into my WordPress Blog, so I copied and pasted the code into my WordPress page, and it just shows as code, and doesn’t show the picture or the description and Buy Now button. Does WordPress bar Amazon adverts? What can I do? Here’s the link to my article, and you will see the Amazon showing as HTML about one third down the page. https://familymattersdianasblog.wordpress.com/2016/02/29/make-a-will-avoid-family-rows-about-money/
Has anyone else had this problem?

The Amazon widget code will not work on a WordPress.COM hosted blog.
We allow affiliate links on WordPress.com, including from Amazon.com, but you will not be able to use the Amazon widget on a WordPress.com site. From https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/amazon-widget-9?replies=3#post-1882814
Posting of some affiliate text links is possible, provided the blog is an actual blog and not just a storefront. Please read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/ closely.
WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.
Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.
