My app won’t let me send messages to you

    The app asked me if I liked it, then if there are ways to improve it. I tried to reply but it refuses to send messages.

    Hi, it’s a really good app and it has improved. However, I find it frustrating that when I input a poem, all gaps between verses are removed making it look like a single paragraph. I have resorted to using hyphens and full stop to make the spaces.

    I am saddened that most of my posts receive less than a dozen views. I wonder if there is dime way to make them more visible to those who may find them relevant. As it is, I expect there are so many postings that mine is immediately lost. I’d rather know my writing is disliked, than wonder if it will ever be read.

    I also had problems trying to send this message to you after the app asked me if I felt the site could be improved. So, I am already re-writing it!

    Hey there, sorry the app didn’t submit the comment! If you’d like, we can help you troubleshoot that more. Just let us know what error you’re getting, or what happens when you try to submit.

    Can I make some recommendations for your site?

    For the front page, I recommend showing the Latest Posts. You can do this under My Site > Customize.

    If you don’t like showing them all in one long list like that, you might try another theme or show fewer posts per page. Or, you could just list the titles of your latest works on the front page. Just something more than an instruction to click the blue categories below — since on a free site I only saw ads below.

    For getting more traffic, I’d recommend using just a few more specific tags or categories on each post. Don’t use too many (15 at most between tags and categories) but do use a few more that are are more specific.

    Lastly, can I recommend adding featured images to your posts? You can search the free photo library if you don’t have any images of your own.

    I didn’t know the homepage was so user unfriendly; I do not see any of the ads when I view it. Is there a way to view what others see?

    On the app in ‘Me’, ‘help and support’, ‘contact us’ I tried to send the message three times, after the initial message from the app asking for my opinions had failed, and they were listed as either I sent or not delivered. I’ve just looked and it is all blank. I have an I-phone, but it seems to me everything is being hacked! Even writing this message it does not fit within the phone screen, as though I am seeing an image from another device!

    I will have a look at your recommendations, and perhaps I will change things. I did not know that I could use images. Site design is not really my thing. I just write stuff, which people seemingly don’t want to read!

    Yes, if you log out of WordPress.com or open a private/incognito browsing window in your browser, you’ll see it as regular visitors do.
