My archive widget won't work

  I tried on my netbook- still no joy. I don’t want to change my theme as I like it and it will mess up my blog changing it. And no point if chateau is supposed to work for widgets. Is there an IT section I can contact at wordpress? Obviously my widgets have been deactivated.

  Chateau has unusual Archives display options. Get off the Widgets page please. Consult the detailed theme description page here http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/chateau/ and scroll down to
  Multiple Archive Styles there.

  I finally figured it out- it was in the page setup- one has to choose columns then the widgets work! Thanks.
