My assigned users (contributors and authors) can't login

    Hi I have created logins for some of the users, but the logins do not seem to work.
    If I try to log out from my admin and login again with one of the author’s it will not let me.

    I have managed to post on behalf of that user in the past but not any longer.

    Also, I have set up one of the users (Daphne Shen) to show her name when she posts , but instead it shows the name of the site. When it comes to my account- it is all showing correctly.
    Can you please help.

    I am using Outspoken theme and my site is pedlas.com

    Hi Julia!

    You’ve reached support for free blogs hosted at WordPress.com. It looks like pedlas.com is actually a self-hosted blog on GoDaddy using WordPress.org software. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are actually two different animals as explained here:

    Since your site is self-hosted, I don’t have direct access to your site files so I’m afraid I’m not going to be of much help. I would recommend potentially getting in touch with your host if you’re still having trouble or consulting the WordPress.org docs here:

    Regarding the user name appearing as the site name, when you’re on your Dashboard, you should see a side panel option for Users -> All Users. If you click “Edit” under the user you mention, you should be able to edit the Display Name. That is the field that should be displayed alongside her posts. Can you give that a try?
