Hi,
The page http://www.living-in-a-semi-colon.com/my-place-blog-posts/ is your posts page. It will display all of your posts either to infinity or to a limit you have set, regardless of the month in which they were published.
Here are your monthly archives pages:
September (1 post) — http://www.living-in-a-semi-colon.com/2016/09/
August (6 posts) — http://www.living-in-a-semi-colon.com/2016/08/ -

Sorry, my shorthand might have been I bit difficult to decipher. I meant that the posts page will either display all of the posts on the front page (infinite scroll), or a finite number which you may set (default=10). Infinite Scroll is not available on all themes. See the Infinite Scroll support page.
When all posts are displayed on the front page due to allowing infinite scroll, it is done by loading several at a time. How many? From the Infinite Scroll support page FAQ section:
How many posts load at a time?
Infinite Scroll loads seven posts at a time.
Can I change the number of posts that load at a time?
You can’t change the number of posts that load during Infinite Scroll. (The Settings → Reading → “Blog pages show at most” option takes effect when Infinite Scroll is disabled.)In the absence of Infinite Scroll, the number selected at the “Blog pages show at most” setting at Reading Settings determines the number of posts which will display on the posts page, as well how many posts show on archives pages (year, month, daily, author, category, tag, etc.) and in search results on the site. See the Reading Settings support page for more information and instructions.
