My Avatar Not Showing

  When I use the “name and url option” on blogs to leave comments my image never shows up. Is there a way I can set my gravatar to show up whenever I use my wordpress address. I have set up a gravatar and attached my email address. Should I be attaching the wordpress.com address instead? I seem to be having nothing but issues with my gravatar and blogger.com gravatars not showing on my site but they show on other wordpress sites. So somewhat confused.

  You should link your WordPress username to your blog.

  How to make your name link to your blog:
  Go into your dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to ‘Account Details’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
  Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.

  Set that months ago : ). If you click my avatar it will link you to my site. It just doesn’t show my avatar on blogger.com for instance.

  That’s because Blogger (blogspot) blogs aren’t equipped to display gravatars.

  Well that’s odd as I saw the gravatar of a fellow wordpress user displayed on a blog I commented on a few days ago. If they did not display gravatars hers would not show :) Or do I need to do something else in addition to a gravatar?

  This site implies that blogger is equipped to recognise gravatars. Gravatar

  Depends if the blogger has chosen to do that. It’s something that has to be added to a Blogger blog by the actual blogger. You have no control over whether or not they do that.
