My background color won't change and it's driving me CRAZY!!

  I’m trying to change my background color on my website, sitarahcoote.com, to black instead of purple.

  I’ve gone through “customize” –> “color and background” —> selected black, saved and published it.

  And it’s still showing up purple!

  What do I do??? I like they way my website is set up, I just need to change that one thing!!

  Hi,
  You probably need to choose “Exit the Preview” at Customize > Background & Colors, and then try again to choose and save a custom background as before. It should work every time once you’ve exited the preview. See the exchange in the relevant topic I cannot change theme yoko the background of the theme.

  Thanks!

  But I don’t see “exit the preview” when i click on “Background & Colors”.
  I don’t think I’m in the custom design preview.

  Do you know what else it could be?

  At the top of Background & Colors, do you not see the following?

  This feature is a part of the Premium Plan. Purchase to make it live or exit the preview.

  I don’t know what else might be causing the issue you report. You may add a “Modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention. Unlike volunteers such as myself, staff have access to your administrative areas.

  Hi there,

  Our team just launched a fix for this issue — in some cases, the background color wasn’t changing at all (even if you weren’t previewing the custom design features) and that should be resolved now. If you have any further trouble with it, please let me know. :)
