My background image problems

    I uploaded a very large picture from my computer to use as my background image and scaled it down with the Word Press settings. When I see it on my computer at home it looks fine, but when I see it on my friends computer it’s not centered anymore. Is there a specific size I can scale my image to before I upload it to make it look good on all screens without it shifting to the left or right?
