My background won't show on Penscratch

  I use penscratch as a theme, but my background won’t show up. No matter what I use, a colour, a pattern or an image, I click on ‘save a publish’, it saves, then I view my blog and it’s not there. It’s just white. How do I fix this?

  I have just tried to edit mine and upload a background… and it worked and I did it via the old editor… if that helps.

  Go to https://handfulofheartbeats.wordpress.com/wp-admin and then go to appearance and select background and try to add your background via there. Remember to save it should you preview it first and like it.
