My bank account charged randomly $70?

    I have several WordPress accounts, most are dead. I have not ONCE ever signed up for a paid plan. For the first time ever, I woke up to a charge of $70 that overdrew my bank account. I have never been charged by WordPress before so I am not sure why this is starting today. This charge may be related to archaestheticsaz, or it may be related to another WP account that I had in the past. I can give more info and whatnot so you can help me track and refund this payment that I did not sign up for. I have never given this platform permission to charge any of my bank accounts/cards, this is alarming and I need it resolved ASAP.

    Thanks so much for getting in touch with our team. I reviewed this account and can confirm that there are not any charges or upgrades connected to it. If that charge is coming from WordPress.com it must be associated with a different user account.

    OK, after reviewing the link you sent it was for a VERY old account I set up “thethreewildflowers,” I do not have this login info anymore, and my backup email that was connected to that WP account has been shut down entirely. Please advise on what I should do. I cannot be charged for a website that I can’t even access anymore. I never signed up for a $70 plan.

    Can you please help me refund the $70.05 payment for the account “thethreewildflowers”? This is a dead account that I can no longer access myself, but surely there is something WP staff can do to help me?

    Hi there,

    Since the charge is associated with another account of yours, to access that other account and cancel the upgrade, you can provide us with a transaction ID as proof of ownership. To retrieve that, please follow the instructions in the guide below.

    Once you have the transaction ID, you can send it to us using this form: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

    Please do not post any transaction details in this public forum. Use the form I linked above.
