My Billing Cycle Seems Off…
-
Hi,
I purchased an upgrade about two weeks ago and my account says that it is going to be renewed automatically in 10 months. That’s strange because two weeks+10 months<one year.Who can I contact for clarification?
Thank you.

You can look in Dashboard >> Stores for the exact date – renewals here are done 30 days before domains and mapping expire so any problems can be addressed before the domain expires if the renewal fails for any reason – notices are sent for domain names and mapping 60 days before they expire.
I will also flag this for the staff to look in the exact dates involved

Thank you, auxclass.
It was for domain mapping, yes, so that would likely explain the 60 day difference. When does the renewal actually take place, though? Does it happen 60 days prior or at the completion of my term?
I’m sure others users may find this information useful.
I appreciate your flagging for attention.

The domain the98poundweakling.com was registered on August 30 and auto-renew was enabled.
When auto-renew is enabled, we renew domains a month early (July 30), since a simple failed transaction could result in the loss of the domain if we waited for the expiration date.

Thanks, macmanx.
So the renewal kicks in at the end of the actual period then, and is just billed a month early. Is that correct? -
