My Blavatar isn’t showing up in the address bar.

  The blavatar I have saved under my general settings does not appear in the address bar. How can I get this changed? My URL is http://www.thesportscholar.com

  Did you follow these instructions? http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/ I Also how long ago did you upload it? It’s my experience that it takes time to change.

  I did follow those instructions, thank you. I did it about an hour and a half ago.

  That might not be enough time. I’d suggest checking again in the morning. Sometimes they do take a long time.

  Also: what KIND of file was it? JPG?

  Yes it was a JPG.

  Do be aware that it can take a days sometimes. I gave up caring about it and that’s when mine appeared.

  I recommend clearing your browser cookies and cache because sometimes the computer gets snagged on relying on the cached version of the website which will delay any reflection of change….
