My blog address is incorrect

  Please help me with an understanding on how I can change my blog url to presente.wordpress.com. I can create something else as well but do not wish to have the word ‘site’ as part of the URL.

  Kindly help.

  Hi presente30,

  It looks like presente.wordpress.com is not available.

  Therefore, I suggest finding another domain name.
  You will have to choose a custom domain (example.com), or a free .wordpress.com address (example.wordpress.com) on Step number 2: https://wordpress.com/start

  @presente30 – You won’t be able to use the URL presente.wordpress.com because that site already exists. You can try leaving a comment on that site if there is an open comment form and ask that the current owner transfer the site to you.

  If they agree, they can transfer the site to you following these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  Do not ask them to delete the site so that you can use the address. They need to transfer the site to you following the above directions.
