My blog and how it looks online

    Hi there, I have recently set up a blog page and have customised it, however, when I go to type in into google, it is still showing up as the original template without any of the features I have customised myself. I have hit publish but this is still not working. I am using a purchased template not from WordPress but the template I bought was made for WordPress. I would appreciate the help. thanks

    What is the URL of the site with the problem?

    My URL is https://trulycourt.co.uk

    I can customise my blog but when I press publish, only some of the features are there but when i go into the public website, the original template is still visible and am unsure how to fix this issue.

    Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Siteground.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.     https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    Your hosting provider’s support team may also be able to assist.

    I’m unsure what you mean as siteground as been listed as a recommended work press hosting provider

    Hi @trulycourt, if it helps, SiteGround is a hosting provider. They have allowed you to install your own DIY copy of the free WordPress software on their services. They may provide some support with that if you want to contact them directly.

    WordPress.com (that’s us) is a separate hosting service. We manage WordPress installations for folks who host their sites here, but your site is not on our servers.

    Your host or theme provider would be your best bet, but if you want to hire someone to help with this, we currently recommend this resource.
