My blog disapeared and i get a domain mapping message

    Greetings;

    WordPress #868463, something nefarious has happened to my blog traceyplauriault.ca, it just vanished and i get this message – Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. – And I cannot login.

    Tiffney has responded to the ticket above with:

    Hi Tracey,

    So it looks like you have two problems:

    1. Domain mapping for traceyplauriault.ca doesn’t seem to exist anywhere on a WordPress.com blog. Without this upgrade your url has nothing to connect to. That’s why you’re getting the error.

    2. Your blog at traceylauriault.wordpress.com has been deleted. Was this intentional? If you’ve deleted your blog then it won’t be possible to connect a domain to it. This is why you can’t log in to purchase the domain upgrade.

    I can try to restore your blog, after which you’d be able to connect that domain to it with the Domain Mapping Upgrade. Or you can create a new blog and use your traceyplauriault.ca domain there. Learn more about Domain Mapping here:

    Best,

    I have not deleted my blog, i was very surprised to see it disapear and I have been using that address since 2010 and have not had any notices via email from WP on anything expiring and godaddy domain folks let me know my account with them for 5 years is all hunkey dory.

    This was my personal blog, CV, and there was a ton of stuff there. Did someone hack it?

    I responded to Tiffney’s email but not sure if those go back to her or not, so i am resending here. Please help.
