my blog disappeared

    The content and entire page layout of my url has been cleared out. I was attempting to “point”. I use HostGator to host, GoDaddy as the domain registrar, and WordPress as the blogging platform. I got an email from WordPress yesterday telling me I needed to change the name servers with GoDaddy. Prior to doing so, my site had lost its content. But almost as soon as I changed the name server information given to me by WordPress with GoDaddy, everything was back. I have added some temporary content to the page I can access, but consequentially I have yet to regain the original content. Do I need to change the name server information again? How do I regain all the work I put into the site and have it stay? Thanks for any feedback!

    You have posted in the wrong forum: this forum helps folks using wordpress.COM. Our answers won’t necessarily apply to your situation.

    If you are paying a host, then you must be using wordpress.ORG software.
