My blog disappeared

This is a new blog, and I set it as private. I wrote one post. Now I click on it, it has the wrong Theme, and I get no posts and this message:
Nothing Found
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.

That’s the blog name, but there’s duplicates. Let me copy and paste so I can see if the URLs are identical (can’t read the URL with my eyesight)

Yup, they look the same. But under My Blogs, I have both those listed one underneath the other. Not sure why.

Thanks. My guess is this is a server synching issue. There are 3 HUGE server farms in 3 different locations and unless the synching is absolutely perfect this can happen. Not to worry as Staff will see to that and respond.

It’s not that complicated. Think backups – redundant backups. All your data and mine and every WordPress.com bloggers blog’s data are stored on redundant servers in 3 different server farms in 3 different locations.

I’m taking an online class for WordPress.com & am experiencing the same type of problem. Yesterday, I created a blog that disappeared later that evening. This morning, it was back, but now has disappeared again. Everything is gone (even the theme), except for the title. When the blog IS visible, it appears as two (identical). I do not want to delete one in case they both disappear! I have tried different browsers (Google, Chrome, Firefox) but get the same result.

Yep, I was worried that both would disappear. Because it’s an identical URL. But it’s disconcerting seeing those on top of my other blogs….

@ameliespp and @nenaof7, I believe I have sorted things out for both of you. My apologies for the confusion – our system has been generating duplicate blogs for some of our users, and that’s what caused it to look like your blog had disappeared.
Please be sure to clear your browser cache so you get the most current copy of your sites:
