Why don't dates appear on my blog posts?
-
My blog does not post a date with my entries for this blog about quilts; it does for my other blog. And it used to for aboutquilts until I changed to coraline. I just changed to comet, but still no dates.

Hi there,
It looks like all of your posts on aboutquilts.wordpress.com are published as “sticky” posts. Because a “sticky” post is intended to remain on the front page, above other posts, there is no date attached to it.
To resolve this problem, I recommend publishing your posts regularly, i.e. not as a “sticky” post. For more information:

I have always used sticky posts on both my blogs. That way the newest post appears at the top.
My other blog: http://woodhavenstudio.wordpress. com is fine with sticky posts and includes the posting date at the top of each entry.
The http://aboutquilts.wordpress.com was fine until I changed to coraline as the theme.
I thought that changing to comet theme would bring back the date of posting. If I don’t use sticky post, my new entry goes to the end of my postings.

Having the dates appear in a sticky post in the Oulipo theme appears to be a feature of that particular theme.
In Comet, the theme’s layout and coding is set to exclude dates from the sticky posts. I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
