My blog does not publicize to FB

  My most recent blog does not publicise to FB. I have tried to disconnect and reconnect etc but it is not working. I have had this issue in the past but for whatever reason it seems to have sorted itself out. Pls do not tell me follow the Reconnecting Services instructions as I have done this half a dozen times. What else can I do?

  Hi there,

  I’m so sorry that the Publicize feature is being so stubborn for you!

  I know that you didn’t want me to ask, but I do need to verify, on our page about how to reconnect Publicize, there are a few steps which require you to remove the connection to publicize on Facebook’s side. Did you do those steps as well?

  I ask because the errors which I’m seeing on my end suggest that there may be an expired connection between the two, which is usually solved by removing that connection and re-creating it.

  Hi, I have done as you have asked and my blog still will not link to FB. I have removed the connection to FB, then reconnected with WordPress but no luck. This is getting very frustrating. It never happened previously. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi again,

  I see that you disconnected from Publicize and then reconnected it about 4 hours ago, however I don’t see any new posts since then. Have you tried publishing a post and had it not work since you reconnected? Remember that publicize will only attempt to post new posts, it does not post older posts (so that we are not spamming your social media accounts).
