My blog doesn't accept the rest of my entry

Can anyone help me with why, when I was writing a blog, it seemed to cut it off at the same point each time? Are we only allowed a certain number of words?
Also, am I not saving right? I press ‘update’ and then when I go to publish, I get that cross-looking thing instead of an arrow.
Sorry for being so cryptic…just not really understanding.

If you prefer you can link your blog to your username. It’s very easy to do. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.
Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

Thank for the blog link. There is no limit that I am aware of when it comes to the length of a post or page. How many words or lines are you referring to?

On my last blog entry, I had about 10 more lines. I did them, they disappeared, I did them again and made sure to publish, etc. and again….gone!
Any clue? I mean, I know its not the most fascinating subject but still….they could’ve left the rest up.lol.
