My blog enojp.org is bought on goDaddy but hosted by wordpress as far as I know. Even though I miss the Plugin-Bar in my Admin-Dashboard. What must I do to be able to enjoy using plugins? Thanks a lot!

It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress.org blogs.

My original idea was to embed a pdf on a page in a good looking way.
I diligently tried most of the codes spread in the internet for this reason without success. And I came across many tutorials in which they used these plugins… Of course I´m open for any new or old idea that serves the purpose.

There are two primary ways you could display a PDF on your site:
- You could upload the document as explained here:
This would display a download link within your page or post.
- You could use a service like Scribd to embed the document directly in the page:
