  According to Norton, the first step is to verify ownership. Well, how do I do that with WordPress.com? I did it successfully with Google (thanks to someone on another thread), but WordPress seems to have no way of doing that for Norton.

  I am not a Norton customer, and I am wondering if I purchased their service they would help me. Seems like blackmail, but I’m completely mystified as to how this happened!

  Yes, it does, but WordPress does not seem to have a way of verifying a web site for Norton. I successfully did it for Google, but Norton is not there. For example, how do I insert a meta tag to the root level with WordPress?
