My blog has disappeared

  I would like to retrieve my blog entitled From Bellevue Hill to Borneo which began in 2012 and the last post was in 2015. There were 53 posts and the site seems to have disappeared altogether. I hope it has been archived so I can retrieve it. That’s lot of work to lose!

  No worries! If you didn’t delete your site, it’s still there! WordPress.com does not delete old sites for this reason. It looks like http://anniemehra.wordpress.com/ is still showing up if that is the website you are referring to. Are you able to log in at http://anniemehra.wordpress.com/wp-admin/?

  If not, I would follow the steps for account recovery to regain access to your site:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  Thank you, thank you Geoffrey. It’s all there!

  If I want to save it onto a memory stick, is that possible? (Not very IT savvy but I guess you can see that…)

  You’re welcome, I’m glad everything is still there!

  You can export your content, which will be saved as a .zip file that you can save to your memory stick.

  • Click My Site -> Settings and then select the Export tab.
  • Decide if you want to export everything or only selected content; select that content if you don’t want everything.
  • Click Export All or Export Selected Content
  • Download the file(s). You can choose to save to your memory stick
