My blog has vanished without a trace!!!

    http://theworldofsatubell.com/ is GONE!
    And by gone I mean that EVERYTHING is gone, not just the blog posts but every single piece of media I had stored!
    Help! What has happened?? And is there any hope of getting it all back??
    I mean, I was planning to change things on my blog, but this is WAY too extreme!

    Actually it’s hosted by Cheapnames and I have now sent them a message.
    It didn’t even occur to me because I had just received an email update about my domains, all active, and on my account on the cheapnames website it says everything is up and running without issues! So obviously I didn’t receive any notifications/warnings, either.

    Well, I got a response from Cheap Names and according to them, everything is running normally:

    “After testing the hosting account, the hosting account is responding and functioning as excepted. I would refer to the info below. This can happen if WordPress has been updated, with either the core files, plugins, or themes.
    After troubleshooting your site to determine the error, you can attempt to fix your theme and return your site to a working state.”

    They also included a table re: PHP errors.

    Should I do that troubleshooting? No matter what I try to do with my site, I get the same little error message: “Error with…(whatever it is I’m trying to do)”, yet I have not received any other kind of warning or message and on the surface, everything looks normal – except, of course, that my content has disappeared and I can’t do a thing!

    I just wanted to run this by you before I embark on that whole massive troubleshooting operation..

    Hi there, you should definitely run this past the people who are using the standalone WP (org) software over at https://wordpress.org/support If you don’t have a username there, you can register one on that page. We won’t be able to troubleshoot your site as we are not running the same software on WordPressdotcom. https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
