My Blog Header Photo Has Changed This Morning

My header photo was fine on my blog last night but I’ve come into work this morning and it’s nothing I recognise – definitely not one of my photos. I’m using the ‘Freshy’ theme.
The browsers are out of date at work so I have to click to go into ‘classic mode’ but I’ve been doing that for ages and it hasn’t affected it before.
Anyone else having a problem?

Yes I have the same issues. Hardly recognise my own site at all.
Has WP gone into meltdown ?Explanation’s would be good guys.
(Don’t need this to contend with given I will be embarking down the Win 10 track in a few days as well :( )

@mountaincoward @kiwozikonnections what you are seeing are your theme’s default header.
I’m assuming that you didn’t change it so I’ve tagged this for Staff assistance. Please be patient.

I see the same with two blogs and have just contacted Support. I use the Custom Design upgrade (both renewed correctly) and suddenly all the custom colors are lost. Also free config options as header images or menus have been changed back to the defaults.

The same happened to my blog. I can’t change it. I tried to re-import my header-photo, but the site won’t let me save it.

Same happened to me. My header imaage which I loved was replaced by an image which has no relevence to my blog and which I do not like.
I have tried to save and publish my original header image but it always reverts to the suggested image which I hate.

Same. Header & Background Colors reverted back to the default and won’t change back to my preference.

Same problem. Site reverted to theme defaults. Lost my menu, header and logo. I’m using the Highwind theme. Changing to a different theme seems to sort it out but when going back to Highwind it is broken again.

Yes it is one of the default headers. I’ve just tried to reload the proper header but it hasn’t worked.

my blog has done the same today and I can’t get it to revert to correct primary menu and header. one of default headers keeps replacing it.

same has happened to mine – clearly this is a huge WordPress error as I have not touched my site for weeks. an news WordPress??

I’m experiencing the same problem across a range of blogs I administrate for my employer. Every single one has had its header reverted to default, and the system is not letting me re-select the original images we had selected. I have tried changing themes, but this does not work either.

Same problem h ere. Cannot save or change anything in the customize menu. Hopefully this is fixed in a few hours so that we can continue with our blogs as normal.

Hopefully things are now settling down following Staff handling of the issue, therefore I’ve removed the tag for their attention here.
