  Hi everyone. I haven’t updated my blog media/anthropology (johnpostill.com) for a while and now it appears to be down. How do I reactivate it?

  Your domain expired in Octobre 2019 and is in Redemption, https://www.whois.com/whois/johnpostill.com.
  I tagged this to get get attention from a Staff member.

  Hi John –

  The site in question is actually owned by the jpostill account. That’s different from the one that you’ve posted from here.

  Since johnpostill.com is in redemption there’s an extra $80 fee associated with the renewal. That’s charged by our domain partner so we don’t have any control over it. The total renewal is going to cost $98.

  I’ve emailed the proper account with a secure payment form. Once you’ve made that payment write back to us here or in the email I just sent and we can proceed.

  Hi John,

  Please don’t complete payment via the link my colleague sent you. Since our last reply here the domain has passed out of the redemption period, and we no longer have any way to restore it.

  The domain should be deleted completely by our domain provider in a few days, at which point it will become available again for anyone to register as a new domain.

  Note that if someone else manages to register it before you do, they will become the new owners and you won’t be able to use the domain any more.
