my blog is gone!

Hello! I had a blog under the url bansheezine.com. i let it lapse and now i don’t know what happened to it! i was under one of two accounts i have but no matter where i look, it says i have zero blogs. how can i have my blog and all the posts restored?

It doesn’t appear that the website was hosted here at WordPress.com, so we’re limited to what we can help with and advise.
To clarify, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:
1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.Since you let the domain lapse, it went through a cancellation and redemption process where you would have been able to recover the domain. When the domain exited that process, the domain is released back into the marketplace where anyone could purchase it, which seems to have happened. Another individual or entity purchased the domain on 2022-06-28 and now owns it.
Regarding your site content, looking through your domain’s DNS history, it looks like your site may have been hosted with Dreamhost until the domain name servers were changed on 2022-07-01.
You may want to reach out to Dreamhost support to see if they still have a copy of your website they can restore to a new domain – typically if you let your hosting lapse, the hosting provider will remove your content from their servers. You can contact their support here:
