My Blog is having trouble loading Images
-
With due respect to the person who is reading….
I’m having trouble loading images in My Blog. Even, when I upload new images, they aren’t loading. They just show the broken link sign. I’m from India (Andhra Pradesh State).
I tried Latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. I’m sure browser isn’t the problem. I tried to use some US Proxy (using some software, I hid my IP and took an USA ip). Then, I was able to see the PICTURES.
So, I think the problem is with the WORDPRESS and NOT MY SYSTEM (I’m using Desktop PC). I’m having this trouble from around 2 weeks or more. Please, let Me Know what’s the problem here…!!!

Will you please provide us with some details so we can try to help you?
1. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. It sounds like there could be a problem with your ISP. Can you access any of these directly?

Thank you for providing the information for Staff. Please be patient while waiting for them to respond to this thread.

Loading through a proxy doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a problem on our end. To be honest, if there was we’d have more than one report. It just suggests a network issue, so would you please try resetting your router and modem?
-
rammohanreddy, are you trying to access the link on a system or using a mobile device/tab?
-
I’m using System (Windows 7). Recently, I’m unable to browse google and other websites on chrome and IE. But, I’m fine with Firefox. Everything is loading (except the images part with WordPress).
-
Did you have any luck with resetting your router and modem?
If you’re “unable to browse google and other websites” I’d say you’re definitely having issues with your local network or your ISP.
-
Yeahh.. I too thought so… But, Mine is a broadband Net (cable connection). My IP doesn’t change and I dont have any modem here at home.
-
You don’t have a modem at home? How do you connect internet access to your computer then, you can’t be pluggin a coaxial cable line directly into your computer.
-
Actually, this is how an Internet Connection works here.
There will be some Modem/Router (whatever) at One Place (probably other Customer of Internet) and That Modem will have 3 to 4 connections surrounding that area.
So, My Modem will probably be at some other one’s house (I hope so). -
Ah, that’s definitely a problem them.
If you can track it down, I’d recommend resetting it.
Otherwise, the only other way to rule-out a network issue would be to try connecting from somewhere else.
