My Blog is Not Available This Morning

    Hi
    Our blog website doesn’t appear to be available this morning. The URL is not responding: https://tenerifesurunder10k.wordpress.com/
    My browser is returning the message – ‘This site can’t be reached
    tenerifesurunder10k.wordpress.com took too long to respond.’
    Other URLs are working OK. I’m guessing there is a problem with the WordPress.com server environment that is affecting our site? Anybody else having the same issues?

    Hi John,
    I tried opening your website, its working absolutely fine, also tried other ones , WordPress servers seem to be in place, probably there are chances of browser issues , or internet problem here is more information , just read through it

    Problem is persisting here, affecting all devices and browsers. I also notice that other wordpress.com blogs that I follow are not loading. I have re-started our ADSL router – no better. However, I have access to a 4G router and all wordpress.com sites, including our own, work OK when using that 4G router. Looks like the problem, hopefully temporary, is with our ADSL internet provider?
    BTW, WordPress Forum is also not loading under ADSL, so only able to respond here when I access the 4G router.

    Hi John,
    Hearing your details further chances are your adsl service provider is providing temporary cache, you can go through the note just below clearing cache. Try to clear your cache on the particular browsers and try reloading on Adsl connection. Let me know how it goes.

    Hi Pavan
    I’m afraid that clearing browser cache didn’t clear the problem. This morning I decided to access my ADSL router configuration interface and chose the “Reboot” option. To my delight this seems to have worked! All the WordPress.com websites I could not access (including this Forum!) are now working for me again. I had re-started the router yesterday to see if that helped – but it didn’t. It looks like the reboot from the config setup has done the trick, though. Thanks very much for taking the time to offer assistance. Much appreciated, John
