My Blog is Not Loading to the Most Recent Post

Hello Everyone! I need help. When you go to my blog address http://admsp.wordpress.com/ it opens up to a blog I posted on July 20th. Then if you scroll down you see my latest blog posted on August 9th in between a blog posted on August 3rd and one posted on June 2nd!!!!
In addition, all my widgets are at the very bottom of my blog and not on the right hand side column!!!!
This is crazy! When I go to the dashboard the blogs are all in the right order and the widgets appear on the right column.
I cleared my cache and viewed it Safari, Chrome and Firefox and it is the same on ALL!!!!
Please help me.

I took a look and I couldn’t reproduce this. I did see a post marked August 9th, but it’s marked as 2009, not 2010, and therefore is in the right order.
You might check the timestamp in wordpress or on your computer as it might think your still in the last decade.

@sberkun: You didn’t take a careful look – should have looked at the bottom of the page.
@Marlene: The order is messed up because you have erroneoussly marked most of your posts as stickies. Go to Posts in your dashboard, tick the “Title” square to select all the posts on the page, select Edit from the “Bulk Actions” dropdown, click Apply, select Not Sticky from the “Sticky” dropdown, click Update. Repeat for the next page of posts etc.

Your blog is meant to have only one (or maybe 2 or 3? YIKES) sticky posts.
To make your latest post appear on top, it is not necessary (it is a bad idea) to make it sticky!! Your latest post is on top by default: that is how your blog is meant to work.
By making all your posts (or many of them) sticky, the order of the posts becomes crazy and confused.

in which case you’d say the former was in the last century (decade) and the latter is in this century (decade).} -
The more stickies you have, the greater the screwup potential: at a certain point, they seem to start moving around on their own. Not good.

………the banana peel of wordpress.com blogs -:))but I did not mark them as stickies!!!!
I changed it now and it is great to see my order…NOW, does anybody know why my widgets display at the bottom of the page and not on the right hand side column?

Yes. You have content in your main column that is too wide for the column. This causes the widgets to drop to the bottom. Resize that huge thing in the first post.
Also, reduce the total number of tags and categories on each post to no more than about 12, otherwise you’ll be classed a tag spammer and knocked off the global tag pages.

Thanks for the tips on the tags.
I am not able to change the dimensions of the videos or slideshare because the code for wordpress.com does not have it.For YouTube it uses the “share link” and for Slideshare it uses a wordpress.com code and both are one liners:

I tried to list the posts I made as ‘Not Sticky’ and it did not help the order of my posts. The first post is still turning up above the newer post.

I think the date was the problem. I had posted them both on the same date, so I edited the date to the first to the day before. Hopefully that did the trick! Thanks!
