My blog is not searchable on yahoo or google.

Hello Everyone,
I have registered and Verified my blog with google ad yahoo but it is not searchable. I was not able to search even on WordPress site. Please help!!

It’ll save you lots of time if you do a search of the forum prior to asking a question. We answer this one a couple of times every day.
It can take up to six weeks to get properly indexed. To speed up the process, post frequently AND link to other sites.

@mehnas, you can speed up the process a little by verifying your blog with Google, Bing and Yahoo. WordPress makes that pretty easy now.

Other than that, just keep blogging regularly and you will get there.
Interesting recipes by the way, I just might have to try them (if I can find the ingredients here in Hawaii).

It can take 4 – 6 weeks for your posts to be indexed and appear in the SERPs (search engine page results) following verification of your blog ownership with the big search engines. @ thesacredpath Thanks for your help… I have already done that. I guess I will just have to wait and see… and Thanks for stopping by my blog… Wow you live in Hawaii!! my fav. place on earth. I was in Kauai in June and I am trying kauai inspired recipe and will post in next few day!! if you do try any of my recipe do let know how it turns out :) These days walmart carries a lot of international groceries.

@ timethief Thank you very much for you help and reply…. I did verification of my blog with big search engines and did go through the doc (link) and did ty to edit some of those thigs but couldn’t find them on wordpress settings… anyways… i will wait and see… Thanks once again!

After you’ve done all these things, you just have to post often, use ALT tags on photos in your HTML, link other sites on your page and promote yourself on bookmarking sites.
