I set up my blog last night (19hrs ago)but when I copy and paste the link from this site in the google search field it doesn’t pull up my blog.

It can take weeks for search engines to index your site content. Please read this support doc https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/ so you know we have no control over search engines positioning or appearance in the SERPs (search engine page results).

Thank you for your quick response-sorry I mis-spelled “showing”, feeling so dumb right now-grrr. So, now it says that page can't be found??? I'm new to all this so I thought a blog and a page were the same. Apparently i don't have all the info I need to get this going. I will check out your links to see if any will help in resolving this issue.

You failed to delete the standard entries that were already on the site when you registered.
