My blog might have been hacked
-
I would like to report an unauthorized logging off.
I went to the local supermarket to get some groceries. Since it was going to be brief, I left my desktop on. When I came back to write a new post and look at my stats it did not register. I also could not log in because the little window that usually pops up did not appear. I had to go to my search history and find the stats page and it said I had to log in so I did.
I have taken the precautions to use another password. But I would like to report a hacking breach. I suspect it was because I did not clear my Firefox search history of cookies, which is what happened last time I had to log in.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi impunitycity,
I’ve checked your account and I can’t see any activity that suggests you’ve been hacked. However, you did the right thing by resetting your password in order to keep your account secure if you were concerned.
I had to go to my search history and find the stats page and it said I had to log in so I did.
It sounds like the cookies expired and logged you out of your account — which is why you were unable to view your stats or write a new post. You can login in again using this link:
Let me know if you have any questions.

thanks a lot for the info. I just found it strange that I couldn’t access it. Like I mentioned, the log in window was missing when I tried to get back on, which I have never seen happened before.

You’re welcome! I think it’s most likely to be that your cookies had expired as I can’t see any suspicious activity on your account. If you have any more concerns, you know where to find us :)
