  I am curious why my blog addresses spell out dotcom at the end of them?

  I would like one blog named Thebarefoothomestead/wordpress.com and somehow when I registered the names for my blog, dotcom is spelled out in the address. Is this fixable?

  They have a 1, 2, 3 in the three barefoothomestead blogs, but I really just want one! Im having such a hard time with WordPress, Im hoping someone can clean up those blogs for me and leave me with one that has the correct web address.

  The problem is the domain thebarefoothomestead.wordpress.com is already being used by another WordPress.com user so when you tried to register the domain you ended up with some less than ideal workaround domain names.

  I see the custom domain thebarefoothomestead.com is available. What you could do is use the custom domain upgrade to map that domain to one of your .wordpress.com domains. That way all your visitors would see is “thebarefoothomestead.com”
